The Jarad Grohowski Foundation was set up by The G.A.R. coaching staff, the G.A.R. Booster Club, and the Grohowski family. Jarad played for Coach Khalife and he also excelled in the classroom. He was an All-Scholastic defensive tackle and an honor student at G.A.R. Memorial Jr./Sr. High School In Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. In October of 2002, Jarad passed away. In his honor and memory, the foundation was established. Through this foundation, kids are sent to football camp at no expense to them. In the very first year, we sent seven linemen to the King's College Big Men Only Camp. This camp is held at the King's College football field and runs for three days. Candidates for this camp have to meet certain criteria to be eligible. Jarad is a special individual who cared about others. He would have liked this and, believe me, he is still with us. He bled G.A.R. football, and he would have done anything to help out. With your help, we can send kids to camp in Jarad's name. I Thank You from the bottom of my heart. God Bless.
